The importance of drying
Drying and curing are the most important factors when creating a premium product. The drying process of marijuana plants begins right after harvest. Controlling the indoor temperature and humidity is essential and automating these factors can increase efficiencies and mitigate risks such as over drying buds, mould development and even THC deterioration.
With the ideal drying conditions, the average cannabis drying cycle will take 5-15 days depending on the shape, size and density of the buds. At the end of the drying process the marijuana buds should still contain a small amount of moisture for effective curing.
